License
Last updated October 2026
Every KAISCEND purchase comes with one simple license. Here’s the short version; the full terms follow.
You can
- Use the assets in unlimited personal and commercial projects
- Use them in client work, ads, music videos, films, broadcast and streaming
- Publish monetized videos on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and anywhere else
- Edit, crop, recolor and combine them however you like
You can’t
- Resell, share or give away the files, edited or not
- Include them in templates, presets or asset packs you sell or give away
- Upload the raw files to stock sites or public drives
- Use them to train AI or machine-learning models
1. Who this license is for
The license is granted to the person who buys it (“you”), for use by you. If you’re a studio or team and several editors need the files, emailsupport@kaiscend.com and we’ll set up a team license.
2. What you can do
KAISCEND grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the assets you bought (video clips, overlays, LUTs, presets and sound effects) as part of your own creative work (“End Products”), including commercial work and work you make for clients. There’s no limit on the number of projects, views or sales of your End Products.
You can hand project files containing the assets to a client, collaborator or contractor so they can finish or deliver your project, as long as they only use them for that project.
3. What you can’t do
- Sell, sublicense, share, rent or give away the assets themselves, in their original or a modified form.
- Use the assets in a product whose main value is the assets, such as templates, transition packs, preset packs, or stock footage.
- Make the raw files publicly downloadable, or share them through group buys or shared accounts.
- Use the assets, or End Products made from them, to train, fine-tune or test AI or machine-learning models.
- Use the assets in work that is unlawful, defamatory or hateful.
- Claim the assets as your own original footage, for example by registering them with Content ID.
4. Ownership
KAISCEND keeps all rights to the assets. You own your End Products, but not the KAISCEND assets inside them. Some clips may show public places, signage or passers-by; that’s normal for street footage, but if your project needs specific clearances (for example a national TV campaign), check the clip with your legal team first.
5. Updates
Free updates mean any new or improved files we add to a pack you bought during the update period: 12 months for single packs and 24 months for the Master Bundle, from the date of purchase. Updated files are covered by this same license.
6. Ending the license
If you break these terms, the license ends and you must stop using the assets in new work. End Products you published before then can stay up.
7. No warranty
The assets are provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, KAISCEND isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses from using them, and our total liability is limited to the price you paid.
